Your Mission
We are looking for a dynamic and technically proficient (Senior) Customer Value Engineer (m/f/d) with the ambition to provide the best technical support during sales conversations and help make RobCo Europe’s leading company for automation solutions in the SMB sector. With funding of over €50 million from renowned VCs like Sequoia Capital and Lightspeed, as well as top-tier business angels like Daniel Dines and Torsten Reil, we are well-positioned to realize our vision.
The ideal candidate will play a key role in driving the adoption of our robotics solutions by offering expert technical support throughout the sales process. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, customer-centric skills, and a deep understanding of the robotics landscape.
Your responsibilities include:
- Working directly with our Account Executives and serving as a trusted technical advisor to our customers, ensuring they derive maximum value from our solution.
- Acting as the technical point of contact during the sales process: understanding customer requirements, advising and recommending value-adding solutions, and supporting the team in achieving quarterly sales goals.
- Collaborating closely with the Account Executive team to build strong relationships with potential customers.
- Developing and delivering technical presentations, product demos, and proof-of-value for prospective clients.
- Designing, customizing, and configuring our automation solutions to meet specific customer needs.
- Representing RobCo at industry events, trade shows, and conferences.
- As a technical liaison, you will work closely with our VP Revenue, the Head of Technical Customer Solutions, the Account Executives, and the product development team to provide customer feedback and contribute to product improvements.
Your Profile
Ideally, you bring the following:
- Experience: You have relevant experience in pre-sales within the technical sales process, preferably in the robotics or automation industry, and deliver solutions to C-level executives at enterprise clients.
- Presentation skills: You can conduct top-notch demos and training sessions for our prospects and clients.
- Technical expertise: You have several years of experience in developing automation solutions or mechanical designs and are familiar with CAD programs like AutoDesk.
- Technical understanding: You possess a strong technical background and can comprehend, conceptualize, and explain complex robotics solutions.
- Creativity and problem-solving: You have strong problem-solving skills and think creatively to develop innovative solutions.
- Customer orientation: You are customer-oriented and have a passion for delivering exceptional service.
- Teamwork: You are able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Up-to-date knowledge: You stay current with the latest advances in robotics and integrate this knowledge into your solution proposals.
- Execution strength: You have a strong drive to get things done. Your energy is contagious, and your natural approach is “Go Go Go.”
- Willingness to travel: You are flexible and willing to travel 40-60% of your time.
- Language skills: You are fluent in both German and English and can communicate confidently with clients on both a technical and commercial level.
