Your Mission
We are looking for a dynamic and technically proficient
(Senior) Customer Value Engineer (m/f/d) with the ambition to provide the best technical support during sales conversations and help make
RobCo Europe’s leading company for automation solutions in the SMB sector. With funding of over €50 million from renowned VCs like Sequoia Capital and Lightspeed, as well as top-tier business angels like Daniel Dines and Torsten Reil, we are well-positioned to realize our vision.
In close collaboration with our Account Executives, you will support the sales process as a technical consultant, enabling our customers to solve their problems with our robots and systems. You will be the technical point of contact and develop value-added automation concepts and solutions that meet our customers' specific requirements.
Your main responsibilities include:- Consulting and support in the sales process: As a technical contact person, you will support the team in achieving sales goals and build strong relationships with potential customers.
- Developing automation concepts: Design and customize automation solutions to meet customers' individual needs and conduct feasibility studies and simulations.
- Presentations and demos: Develop and present product demos and proof-of-value concepts to compellingly showcase our solutions.
- Project coordination and stakeholder management: Regularly coordinate with internal stakeholders and provide valuable customer feedback to product development.
- Willingness to travel: High self-initiative and reliability in customer contact, with a travel commitment of around 20–30%.
In this versatile role, you combine technical expertise with a sales-oriented approach to meet individual customer needs and promote the acceptance of our solutions.
Your Profile
Ideally, you bring the following:
- Technical expertise and experience: Ideally, several years of experience in technical pre-sales and the development of automation solutions or mechanical designs, preferably in the robotics or automation industry.
- Tools: You are proficient in CAD programs (e.g., Autodesk Fusion) or simulation tools and can use them effectively.
- Presentation skills: Ability and commitment to creating high-quality documents and conducting demos to clearly and understandably communicate technical solutions.
- Problem-solving and creativity skills: With your technical understanding, you analyze and develop innovative automation solutions that solve real problems.
- Customer orientation and communication skills: You present yourself professionally, have a strong service mindset, and know how to communicate technical topics simply and understandably. You respond flexibly to customer inquiries and stay calm even with multiple projects and tight deadlines.
- Independence and adaptability: You work independently and can adapt well to new tasks and requirements.
- Language skills: You are fluent in both German and English, written and spoken.
