Your Mission
RobCo is looking for a dynamic and technically skilled (Senior) Technical Sales Engineer (m/f/d) who can provide the best technical support during sales conversations to help make RobCo Europe's leading company for automation solutions in the SMB sector. With over 50 million euros in funding from renowned VCs like Sequoia Capital and Lightspeed, as well as top-tier business angels like Daniel Dines and Torsten Reil, we are well-positioned to realize our vision.
The ideal candidate will play a central role in promoting the acceptance of our robotic solutions by providing expert technical support during the sales process. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, customer-oriented skills, and a deep understanding of the robotics landscape.
Your Responsibilities:
- Direct Collaboration: Work closely with our Account Executives as a trusted technical advisor to help customers maximize the benefits of our solution.
- Technical Point of Contact in Sales Process: Understand customer requirements, advise and recommend value-added solutions, and support the team in achieving quarterly sales targets.
- Relationship Building: Collaborate closely with the Account Executive team to build strong relationships with potential customers.
- Technical Presentations: Develop and deliver technical presentations, product demos, and proof-of-value for potential customers.
- Customization and Configuration: Design, customize, and configure our automation solutions to meet specific customer needs.
- Representation: Represent RobCo at industry events, trade shows, and conferences.
- Collaboration: Work closely with our VP of Revenue, Head of Technical Customer Solutions, Account Executives, and the product development team to relay customer feedback and contribute to product improvements.
Your Profile
Ideal Qualifications:
- Experience: Relevant experience as a Pre-Sales professional in the technical sales process, preferably in the robotics or automation industry, with a track record of developing successful solutions for C-level executives.
- Presentation Skills: Ability to conduct top-notch demos and training sessions for prospects and customers.
- Technical Expertise: Several years of experience in developing automation solutions or mechanical designs, along with familiarity with CAD programs such as AutoDesk.
- Technical Understanding: Strong technical background for conceptualizing and explaining complex robotics solutions.
- Creativity and Problem Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills and a creative mindset for developing innovative solutions.
- Customer Orientation: Passion for exceptional service and a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
- Teamwork: Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Up-to-date Knowledge: Interest in the latest advancements in robotics and the ability to integrate this knowledge into solution proposals.
- Implementation Strength: High drive to execute projects and contagious energy.
- Willingness to Travel: Flexibility and readiness to travel 40-60% of the time.
- Language Skills: Fluent in German and English, with the ability to communicate effectively on both technical and commercial levels.
