We are looking for a analytical
(Senior) Manager Financial Planning & Analysis / Controlling (m/f/d) with the ambition to take our budget planning and financial forecasting to the next level to make RobCo Europe's leading company for automation solutions in the SMB sector. We have raised more than $50 million from the best venture capitalists in the world, including Sequoia Capital and Lightspeed, as well as from the founders of UiPath, Helsing, Pitch and more, to fulfil our mission.
In this role, you will partner closely with leadership, operations, and product teams to provide actionable insights, shape our financial strategy, and ensure we make data-driven decisions that fuel sustainable growth.
Your responsibilities will include:- Leading the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial forecasts, budgets, and long-range plans
- Developing and maintaining dynamic financial models to evaluate business scenarios and strategic initiatives
- Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), analyzing trends, and providing variance analysis against budget/forecast
- Preparing insightful management reports and board presentations that clearly communicate financial performance and strategic recommendations
- Be the financial business partner to align resources with business priorities and drive cost efficiency
- Conducting market and competitor analysis to inform strategic decisions
- Supporting fundraising activities and investor relations with clear financial narratives and data
- Leading cross-functional projects to enhance reporting systems, processes, and analytical capabilities
- Supporting M&A, expansion, and other high-impact strategic initiatives with robust financial analysis
Your Profile
Ideally you come with the following background:
- Degree in finance, business administration, economics, or related field
- 5+ years of relevant experience in FP&A, financial modelling, investment banking, strategy consulting, or a similar analytical role (experience in a scale-up or fast-growing tech company a strong plus)
- Exceptional analytical skills with proven ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
- Strong understanding of financial statements, business drivers, and scenario modelling
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; financial automation experience and expierence with ERP and BI tools is a plus
- Comfortable presenting to senior leadership and influencing decisions through data-backed recommendations
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Team player with strong communication skills and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset
- Fluent in English; German language skills are an advantage but not mandatory
