Bei RobCo entwickeln wir KI-gestützte Robotersysteme, die industrielle Prozesse autonomer, effizienter und skalierbarer machen. Unsere Autonomous Manufacturing Platform verbindet modulare Industriehardware mit physischer KI und ermöglicht eine schnelle Einführung sowie kontinuierliche Optimierung in realen Produktionsumgebungen.

Mit Standorten in München, San Francisco und Austin und der Unterstützung führender Investoren wie Lightspeed, Lingotto Innovation und Sequoia arbeiten wir daran, industrielle Automatisierung neu zu definieren. Für den weiteren Ausbau unseres Teams suchen wir dich als Systems, Security & Automation Architect (m/w/d) mit der folgenden Mission:

Als IT Systems, Security & Automation Specialist bist du Teil des Office-Management-Teams – und gleichzeitig der Keimpunkt für ein zukünftiges Center of Excellence rund um internes Tooling, Systemlandschaft, IT-Architektur und intelligente Automatisierung. Dafür suchen wir eine sehr ausführende, hands-on orientierte Persönlichkeit, die operative Verantwortung übernimmt und den Anspruch hat, Strukturen, Systeme und Strategien eigenständig aufzubauen und weiterzuentwickeln.

Du sorgst dafür, dass unsere heutige IT zuverlässig, sicher und effizient funktioniert – und entwickelst gleichzeitig die Architektur von morgen: skalierbar, cloud-nah, automatisiert und zunehmend AI-unterstützt.

Deine Aufgaben

1. Systeme, Architektur & Automatisierung

Auswahl, Aufbau und Integration interner Tools (IT, Finance, HR, Admin, Engineering-nahe Systeme)
Gestaltung einer konsistenten System- und Datenarchitektur über Teams hinweg
Enge Zusammenarbeit mit Engineering- und Cloud-Teams zu Security-, Zugriffs- und Architekturthemen
Weiterentwicklung unserer Cloud-nahen IT- und Security-Architektur (z. B. AWS, Identity, Secrets, Policies)

2. Operativer Betrieb & Administration

Betrieb, Absicherung und Weiterentwicklung unserer internen IT- und Netzwerklandschaft
Geräte- und Lifecycle-Management (Laptops, mobile Geräte, Zubehör)
Identity-, Rollen- und Zugriffsmanagement (On-/Offboarding, IAM, SSO)
First- und Second-Level-Support für interne IT- und Systemfragen

3. AI-, Daten- & Tooling-Strategie

Einsatz von AI- und GenAI-Tools zur Automatisierung interner Prozesse
Identifikation konkreter AI-Anwendungsfälle (z. B. Support, Dokumentation, Analyse, Tool-Orchestrierung)
Aufbau von Standards, Best Practices und Automatisierungen
Mitgestaltung einer internen Systems-, Daten- und AI-Strategie

Dein Profil

Abgeschlossene Ausbildung oder Studium im Bereich Informatik, IT, Systems Engineering oder vergleichbar
Mehrjährige Erfahrung in interner IT, Systemadministration, IT-Security oder Cloud-nahen Umgebungen
Sehr hohes Ownership-Mindset: du übernimmst Verantwortung, erkennst Lücken und schließt sie selbstständig
Starkes Interesse am Aufbau neuer Systeme, Strukturen und Architekturen – nicht nur am Betrieb bestehender
Erfahrung in der Nutzung und Integration von AI- / GenAI-Tools im Arbeitsalltag (z. B. Automatisierung, Assistenzsysteme, Analyse)
Technisches Verständnis für Cloud-Architekturen, Identity-Modelle, Netzwerke und Security-Konzepte
Strukturierte, pragmatische Arbeitsweise mit strategischem Blick
Sehr gute Kommunikationsfähigkeit und Service-Mentalität gegenüber internen Teams
Sehr gute Englischkenntnisse (Deutsch von Vorteil)

To further expand our team, we are looking for a Systems, Security & Automation Architect (m/f/d) with the following mission:

Your Mission

As an IT Systems, Security & Automation Specialist, you will be part of the Office Management team while simultaneously serving as the nucleus for a future Center of Excellence focused on internal tooling, system landscapes, IT architecture, and intelligent automation.

We are looking for a highly execution-oriented, hands-on individual who takes operational ownership and is driven to independently build, evolve, and scale structures, systems, and strategies.

You will ensure that our current IT environment runs reliably, securely, and efficiently—while at the same time designing and developing the architecture of tomorrow: scalable, cloud-native, automated, and increasingly AI-powered.

Your Responsibilities

1. Systems, Architecture & Automation

Selection, implementation, and integration of internal tools (IT, Finance, HR, Admin, and engineering-adjacent systems)
Design of a consistent system and data architecture across teams
Close collaboration with engineering and cloud teams on security, access, and architectural topics
Continuous development of our cloud-native IT and security architecture (e.g., AWS, identity, secrets, policies)

2. Operations & Administration

Operation, security, and continuous improvement of our internal IT and network landscape
Device and lifecycle management (laptops, mobile devices, peripherals)
Identity, role, and access management (on-/offboarding, IAM, SSO)
First- and second-level support for internal IT and system-related inquiries

3. AI, Data & Tooling Strategy

Application of AI and GenAI tools to automate internal processes
Identification of concrete AI use cases (e.g., support, documentation, analysis, tool orchestration)
Establishment of standards, best practices, and automations
Co-creation of an internal systems, data, and AI strategy

Your Profile

Completed vocational training or a degree in Computer Science, IT, Systems Engineering, or a comparable field
Several years of experience in internal IT, system administration, IT security, or cloud-adjacent environments
Strong ownership mindset: you take responsibility, proactively identify gaps, and close them independently
Strong interest in building new systems, structures, and architectures—not just operating existing ones
Hands-on experience using and integrating AI / GenAI tools in day-to-day work (e.g., automation, assistant systems, analytics)
Solid technical understanding of cloud architectures, identity models, networks, and security concepts
Structured and pragmatic working style with a strategic mindset
Excellent communication skills and a strong service orientation toward internal teams
Very good English skills (German is a plus)
