Wir suchen einen (Senior) Field Solution Engineer (m/w/d) mit dem Anspruch, reibungslose technische Inbetriebnahmen unserer Automatisierungslösungen beim Kunden vor Ort zu durchzuführen, um RobCo zu Europas führendem Unternehmen für Automatisierungslösungen im SMB-Bereich zu machen. Mit einer Finanzierung von > 50 Millionen Euro von renommierten VCs wie Sequoia Capital und Lightspeed, sowie von erstklassigen Business Angels wie Daniel Dines und Torsten Reil sind wir bestens aufgestellt, um unsere Vision zu verwirklichen.

Deine Aufgaben umfassen:
  • Inbetriebnahme vor Ort: Du installierst und nimmst unsere Automatisierungslösungen direkt beim Kunden in Betrieb, integrierst sie nahtlos in bestehende Prozesse und bist deutschlandweit unterwegs, um technische Herausforderungen vor Ort zu meistern.
  • Projektmanagement: Du planst, koordinierst und dokumentierst Kundenprojekte von der ersten Konzeptidee bis zur erfolgreichen Inbetriebnahme.
  • Kundenorientierung: Du verstehst die spezifischen Anforderungen unserer Kunden und setzt diese in einfache, robuste Automatisierungslösungen um.
  • Kundenbetreuung: Du führst den Aufbau von Automatisierungsanlagen vor Ort beim Kunden durch, inklusive Schulungen und Endabnahmen, und unterstützt bei der Inbetriebnahme sowie der Lösung auftretender Probleme.
  • Dokumentation: Du erstellst Anlagedokumentationen, Betriebsanleitungen und Testprotokolle.
  • Konstruktionsarbeit: Du bist verantwortlich für den 3D-Druck von Komponenten nach vorgegebenen Zeichnungen.
  • Technologische Innovation: Durch dein kontinuierliches Feedback an unsere Hardware- und Softwareteams trägst du zur Verbesserung unserer Robotertechnologie bei.
  • Entwicklung und Testen: In unserem Robotik-Labor in München führst du Tests und Probeaufbauten neuer Lösungen durch und arbeitest aktiv an der Weiterentwicklung unserer Technologien mit.
Dein Profil
  • Du hast eine technische Ausbildung/Studium mit Bezug zu Automatisierungstechnik, z. B. Maschinenbau, Elektrotechnik, Robotik, oder einen gleichwertigen Abschluss
  • Du hast Freude an regelmäßiger Reisetätigkeit für Inbetriebnahmen und Kundensupport.
  • Du bringst erste Erfahrung in der Inbetriebnahme von Automatisierungslösungen oder vergleichbar komplexen Produkten mit.
  • Der Erfolg unserer Kunden motiviert dich und treibt dich an.
  • Du löst Probleme pragmatisch und beachtest bestehende Standards oder initiierst neue Richtlinien.
  • Die Zusammenarbeit mit anderen Funktionen wie Vertrieb und Supply Chain bereitet dir Freude.
  • Deine Arbeitsweise ist strukturiert, und du dokumentierst Wissen klar und verständlich.
  • Du reflektierst Feedback konstruktiv und setzt es in Verbesserungen um.
  • Du verfügst über sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse.

Your Mission
We are looking for a (Senior) Field Solution Engineer (m/f/d) with the ambition to ensure seamless technical commissioning of our automation solutions at customer sites, making RobCo Europe's leading company for automation solutions in the SMB sector. With over €50 million in funding from renowned VCs such as Sequoia Capital and Lightspeed, as well as top-tier business angels like Daniel Dines and Torsten Reil, we are well-positioned to realize our vision.


Your Responsibilities Include:

  • On-Site Commissioning: You will install and commission our automation solutions directly at customer locations, seamlessly integrating them into existing processes, and you will be traveling throughout Germany to tackle technical challenges on-site.
  • Project Management: You will plan, coordinate, and document customer projects from the initial concept idea to successful commissioning.
  • Customer Orientation: You will understand the specific requirements of our customers and translate these into simple, robust automation solutions.
  • Customer Support: You will carry out the setup of automation systems on-site at customer locations, including training and final acceptance, and you will assist with commissioning and troubleshooting any issues that arise.
  • Documentation: You will create system documentation, operating manuals, and test protocols.
  • Construction Work: You will be responsible for the 3D printing of components according to specified drawings.
  • Technological Innovation: By providing continuous feedback to our hardware and software teams, you will contribute to the improvement of our robotic technology.
  • Development and Testing: In our robotics laboratory in Munich, you will conduct tests and prototype new solutions and actively work on advancing our technologies.
Your Profile
  • You have a technical education/degree related to automation technology, such as mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, robotics, or an equivalent qualification.
  • You enjoy regular travel for commissioning and customer support.
  • You have some experience in the commissioning of automation solutions or comparably complex products.
  • The success of our customers motivates and drives you.
  • You solve problems pragmatically, adhering to existing standards or initiating new guidelines.
  • You enjoy collaborating with other functions such as sales and supply chain.
  • Your work style is structured, and you document knowledge clearly and understandably.
  • You reflect on feedback constructively and implement it into improvements.
  • You possess very good German and English language skills.
